New Beginnings, Brought to You at the End

It's been a while sine I've blogged. I was thinking whether or not I should even keep the blog, but I guess it is a good outlet for whenever I need it.

Things have been so busy lately. Between school and the restaurant, I really have very little time to myself. Any time I do have, I like to spend with Megan, or friends at school, or sleeping.
We have only two weeks left before classes end and finals begin. Not looking forward to it all too much.
This week I have an 18-20 page Political Science paper due, and on Monday I have a 15 page Geography paper due.
Then Wednesday next week, I have a chapter exam in Japanese, and the Monday after that, my final speaking exam for Japanese.
I think our Japanese presentations are on the 6th....though I could be wrong. I hope not. Otherwise I'm screwed.
So yeah, the next two weeks are going to be pretty hectic! And finals haven't even started yet......

Sunday Hiroya, Keisuke, Asa and I went to Tomoko Sensei's house for supper.
I admit I was really nervous, as I've been having some negative feelings towards Sensei lately, because of the way she's treated me in class.
But after dinner, I realized more that it's just because she's pushing me. And I need to suck it up.
Anyway, dinner was really nice. David, Yuka and Rumi came too. We had a hot-pot/shabu shabu type thing, and it was really delicious. Though I didn't eat the pork, I had beef and lamb.
My red meat for the week.
We just sat and talked and drank wine for a couple hours, then Hiroya and I left to pick Megan up from the bus depot.
She made red velvet cupcakes. I've never had them before. They were so amazing.
Definitely need to find where this bake-sale of hers is.

My skin has been super horrible lately. Like, really horrible. I feel like I have the hormones of a 15-year-old again, that's how bad it is. And I can't, for the life of me, figure out why.
Sigh.
So I talked to Heather about it, because I trust her immensely when it comes to health-related issues, and solving them the natural way.
She suggested I eat almond butter on toast in the mornings instead of peanut butter, because peanuts have acidity to them, which could irritate, where as almonds do not. Also she suggested an almond oil, just pure, to put on my skin to take away inflammation and redness.
Sadly shoppers did not have any of those things, and I don't exactly have time to go to the organic market.....so instead I got almond milk, and tea tree oil.
I've heard a lot about tea tree oil, and from what I've ready it's supposedly better than almond oil, because it actually fights acne bacteria.
So I gave that a try. It has an extremely strong smell, but it seems to be okay so far.
My skin isn't falling off, so that's a plus.
And this almond milk (chocolate lol) is pretty good as well. I'll try the chocolate before I go to just plain almond milk.

Christmas is coming up pretty fast I guess? I still have no idea what to get anyone......
Asa I would probably get a CD or something, since he seems to like music so much.
Keisuke? Maybe something to do with the anime One Piece, since he likes it so much.
Seiji? Gah.....no idea. I don't know his personal taste well enough.
Maybe a nice scarf? He has barely any winter clothes......
Mom, I got her shoe calendar...but I was thinking of ordering her some shoes....until Hiroya was all "Didn't she just buy a bunch?". Gah.
Bob..........is impossible to buy for, always. Sigh.
Megan.....no idea as of yet.
Hiroya......a new coffee maker, with a built-in grinder maybe.
Once I'm done all my essays, I will go Christmas shopping.

Ordered a game for Hiroya from Japan through a shipping service I've used before. It's arrived at my Tokyo address, but I'm waiting for my stuff from a clothing website (using my pre-paid visa gift) to arrive as well so I can consolidate the package.
It should be there by tomorrow. Shipped by Thursday, and hopefully here late next week or early the week after?
I love that shipping service. So fast, yet so far away.

Anyway, it's 10:30, time to work on the essays.
